Ciara — Patient Care Coordinator

Ciara joined VNIoC in January 2026, bringing a solid background in client relations within veterinary care. “I started out working in a vaccine clinic, then moved into general practice and urgent care at Eastern Animal Hospital, working my way up to be the client experience department head. After five years, I was looking for a change. I’d heard about VNIoC from a coworker, who’d brought her pet here for seizures and said the practice was great.”

They've enjoyed their new role, especially being able to see patients come back after surgery with improved mobility and less pain. Ciara's coworkers and clients appreciate their kind, patient and empathetic nature. They're always ready to listen and help, understanding that “Sometimes people have heightened emotions which is understandable when their pet is hurting and they want to find answers.”

Outside of work, Ciara has three adorable cats–Kiki, Matcha, and Hashbrown. They love video games, movies (especially horror movies), true crime podcasts and documentaries.
